Bank feed deposit for multiple customers

Hi there, I have a single deposit in my bank feed which needs to be split between two different customer sales invoices. What is the best way to do this?

Re: Bank feed deposit for multiple customers

Hi Diane,

This is a long winded process but it works...

You are best to take down details of deposit in the bank feeds screen (date, amount, customers), then go to Sales, Receive Payments and receive the payments of the separate customers but tick the Undeposited Funds box at the top.  Record the payments then go back to Banking, Prepare Bank Deposit.  Tick the box beside the payments you received into Undeposited funds and make sure the date is the same as the bank feed.

Go back to Bank Feeds and it should be matched, if not click on the find button.  Approve.

Kind regards

Re: Bank feed deposit for multiple customers

Hello Diane,

I manage bank feed deposits for more than one customer by applying the deposit (from the Bank Feeds window) to an Electronic Clearing account (which is set up like a bank account) using Receive Money.  I then settle the open invoices in each relevant customer account from the Electronic clearing account, using Receive Payment from the Sales Command Centre.
