Card File: Search ABN

It would be helpful to be able to search via the ABN in the Card File for Suppliers. As I am finding that in our office with many people setting up suppliers that we are getting double ups. The company is not always the same or vastly different.

Thanks for your suggestion Judith. Adding additional search parameters is a popular request. If anyone else would find searching by card help, please add your vote to this suggestion.

Searching by ABN would be very useful and avoid supplier duplication.

I have multiple suppliers accross australia whom have the same name e.g. Caltex Bororen, Caltex Maryborough, Puma Rockhampton, Puma Gladstone, etc. or other franchises that have the same name but diffferent ABN's.  It would be great if we could have the choice to use either the suppliers ABN "or" their company name to bring up the card for the supplier to enter the expense against the correct card.

Also it would be great if when setting up a new supplier card that we can have a box for information stating the Trading As information of the company  rather then just adding it into the address area, then be able to have the option of the trading name selected  as the name we want to appear on the card when entering a supplier expense or spend money, as some companies have several different trading names for different trade areas in their business e.g. Downer Electrical or Downer Utilities, Geiger Electrical or Geiger Group etc. Or they own several different companies under the one banner but all have different ABN's.  By chooseing the ABN we would be sure to apply the correct expense to the correct supplier.
