Hi
I have a staff member who wishes to pay a set amount as additional super post-tax on a weekly basis.
What is the best option - Payroll Category "Deduction" or Superannuation "Employee Additional".
I would think that this woudl be Not-Reportable to the ATO.
They do not wish to do it as as pre-tax Salary Sacrifice.
Look forward to replies, comments.

Thanks for your post. For super amounts to appear in superannuation reports they do need to be setup in the Superannuation tab in Payroll Categories. This help article, Additional super contributions, will guide you through settting up employee additional super.
With regard to the ATO reporting category, this link to the ATO website has information on whether super contributions are reportable or not - Contributions from after tax income
