Hi @met , that would be created by whatever process is used to generate the import file. Can you describe that?

Just tried to select  'Data Only' instead of 'Headers or Labels' in the 'First line of file contains' field, and this worked.

Therefore will try that when we have another large batch and see if it works for all transactions.  Could you let me know what the criteria is for the two different selections for 'First Line Contains'.

Hi @met , When "Data Only" is selected, the import program will read everything from the first line of the file to the end, and attempt to import every line. I would have thought this would fail, since line 1 of your file contains headings. When "Headers or Labels" is selected, the program will ignore the first line. If the second line is blank, it appears that the import program can't handle it and throws the error.

 

Using headers in the file makes the import easier, to my mind, as the user can see column headings when matching, and the program can auto-match if the correct column names are used.
