Why is it no longer possible to utilise shortcut keys like "CTRL+U" to open "Use Recurring" in sales invoicing?

I've been unable to overcome the disappointment of MYOB removing the cherished "CTRL+P" shortcut key approximately 20 years ago to print an invoice, and now it seems that other shortcut keys are also vanishing.

What is the reason behind this shift? I make an effort to minimise mouse usage as it causes discomfort in my wrists, but now I'm compelled to rely on it more frequently.
