Editing table widths in forms

Hi,

   I'm trying to create a form with the following fields in a table

QTY-Description-JobNumber-INC Price-IncAmount

I'm able to drag the fields to the left or the right but this doesn't change the width of each column.

I consulted the below post

Specifically the section entitled "To change column width in a table " but it didn't help.

Specific instructions on how to accomplish this task would be greatly appreciated.
