CHANGE OF PAYMENT TYPE

Hello there,

 

I have a payroll payment that has been saved as "Cheque Payment"and we need to change it to "Electronic payment" to be able to record and match it in the bank. Is there another to record it in Accountright without changing the payment type?

    Thanks for your post. If you need to create a bank file to pay the wages you would need to change the payment method to Electronic. You'll then be able to create the bank file in the Prepare electronic payments window.

     

    If you don't need to create a bank file, open the pay transaction and check the Pay from account. If it's the bank account you should be able to match that pay transaction with the bank transaction.
