Depreciation Start Date

I have an asset that was purchased during the EOFY 2018, but wasn't in working order at that point.  It sat on the depreciation schedule but with no depreciation rate.  

The asset was operational from Jan 2019, however I don't seem to be able to edit the depreciation start date.  

Any suggestions how I can work around this, other than taking it out of the 2018 depreciation schedule & adding it back in the 2019 year.

From my understanding, you have reached out to our team how have indicated that this particular function is not something that the current software is capable of, with only the start date in the same you are in able to be selected. This may be something that we do look into for a future release.
