Bank transactions: Match transaction - default Filter by to All transactions

Hi,

Could the default filter settings for 'Match Transactions' in the 'Bank Transactions' page please be changed. The current default is filter is 'Exact matches'. Logically, if one if using MYOB Essentials to its fullest potentials, any exact matches should be automactically allocated using Rules.

The primary reason for manually Matching Transactions is where a payment corresponds to multiple transactions, such as wages or a payment that covers multiple invoices from the same supplier.

Using wages as an example, my current progression is:

  1. Click the expand tooltip on the far right of the Bank Transactions page (against the transaction)
  2. Click 'Match Transaction'
  3. Change the filter from Exact Matches to All Transactions
  4. Click those wage payments which correspond (which of course, is all of them if wages are paid routinely each pay period). This step can take numerous clicks depending on number of employees.

My suggested progression:

  1. Click the expand tooltip on the far right of the Bank Transactions page (against the transaction)
  2. Click 'Match Transaction'
  3. Click 'Select All' - this should be a checkbox on the far left, above the other checkboxes for each transaction (in the header row).

Has there been any other similar suggestions?
