I have a business where a number of customers have to share the cost of a monthly invoice. It would be helpful if MYOB had a facility whereby the total amount of an invoice can be identified and then split between a number of people who are to share the payment of that invoice.
As we supply services to a number of cleints who would benefit from this facility, by making it available, MYOB could access a significant number of new clients who use our services. We would have a separate MYOB account for each client.
Would MYOB consider developing this facility?

To be able to modify a transaction during a reconcillation without having to go out of the screen, open the original, modify it, then go back to the reconcilliation e.g. a customer has paid too much for an invoice into your bank account and you need to adjust the invoice to account for it.

We do a lot of work for real estate compainies and it would be great if we could add a data field or modify the invoice layout.
It would be great if we could include above the customer name the of the person for the invoice to be forwarded to care off our customer. Such as;
Joe Blogs (This would be a seperate data feild)
C/O Real Estate Blah Blah (Our reccuring customer)
55 Real Estate Road
Australia
Another helpful data field would be for the address the work was carried out at.
Currently this all has to be entered manually in the notes section and when there is a lot of invoicing to be done there is a lot of repetitive unnessacary typing.

Our company submits a large number of Quotes and for various product types. It would be great if you are able to change the Font Colour and be able to add/onsert a blank line so as to seperate different products and to identify project drawings and/or client references.

I have a problem with the ACN/ABN section of the Business details which does not allow you to stipulate which option to use. In Styles and Option there is a box to tick for ABN and there should be another box to tick if you want to use an ACN on your invoice which would solve the problem.
I also would like the option to change the size of the text box with the business name as at the moment my business name is split over two lines. In styles and option it shows correctly but on the invoice it is split up
and looks terrible.
Again there is no option to set up the invoice header so the address is more compact. My invoice shows AUST sitting on a full line alone - looks bad.

Need the ability to change the wording of the Purchase order field on Invoices. A lot of my customers have a "Claim Number" or "Work Order" number.
I use the purchase order field, but they are not purchase orders. Would be good to make this a field I can change in the setup of the invoices templates.

It would be very useful to be able to import a custom invoice template into MYOB. In my case I have invoices that have a fiar amount of information on each line and I find the built-in MYOB templates a bit limiting.

The current process for creating a Budget in Essentials is to export it to Excel, modify it and then import it back in. Alternatively data can be manually keyed in.
What about the baility to modify the budget in Essentials and apply equations to accounts. I.e. Applying a 5 % sales increase per month autmatically across a whole year

One of the biggest pain points for any Accountant / Bookkeeper is clients who leave it till the last minute to send information in or update the coding in their live files.
What if an option was added to Essentials / AccountRight Live where the Partner can send a "Your tax is due in 14 days and you have uncoded transactions " notificaton from within the file.
Even better could it be done automotically???

There needs to be more information so jobs can be distinguished on the invoice and quotation screen. I do work for a number of companies at different addresses, all i can see on the invoice screen is who i am invoicing not where it is for. This wastes a lot of my time. Also the contact (sometimes a real estate agent) is different to the client getting invoiced (the landlord). This information should also be on the same screen. So

Transaction History – A Spend Money Transaction - in the description field it has what is written in the note field of Spend Money. I would prefer it to take its description information from the creditor name aka TO field in spend money. At the moment to show something in the description field on the Transaction History, I have to retype the creditors name in the note field in spend money, which increases the data entry time. It would be great if this was changed.

Bank Reconciliation – It auto reconciliation the transaction. Not sure if I like that, it sounds good as it would reduce data entry time. But I think this is something I would like to control. i was going to suggest being able to search for an invoice by keyword but thats being suggested already so i have ticked that one...
also what would be good is when searching through invoices it would be good if there was a next invoice arrow or box so instead of clicking on the back button to go back to the main page then sort by date, and remmember what invoice you were up to, if there was a next invoice it would open the next invoice when your alrready in a invoice (or a go back one invoice or go to next invoice).

It is very frustrating when I enter dates in Pay bills with the split view tab and the dates do not store and change to random dates. It would be a great feature to have these dates save so that I do not have to re-enter them.

Would be great to have an hours total when doing the pay run, and on the next summary screen where it shows 'last pay' and 'this pay'.
