MYOB Online Payments - Is recurring payment (aka direct debit) available?

Hello

Does the MYOB Online Payments feature allow for recurring payments/direct debit?

Currently we process a recurring payment/direct debit from our customers once a year (we only issue an invoice once per year to our customers) and majority of our customers are currently set up on a payment method of recurring payment/direct debit - where the amount owing is automatically debited from their credit/debit card or bank account on a specified date.

Is this available via the MYOB Online Payments feature?

And if so, is it ONLY via card payment or can a buyer use their bank account to sign up to recurring payments.

Thank you.

Re: MYOB Online Payments - Is recurring payment (aka direct debit) available?

Hi @Maureen5

Thanks for reaching out.

I would understand how that could be useful for customers who want their recurring payments to be automated. My understanding is that we are referring to a feature that your customers could set up so that they are automatically charged yearly and would also pass through the Online Invoice Payment. Unfortunately, this feature is not available for the Online Invoice Payment. This might be especially hard to add to the system since the link for making a payment is generated only after an invoice is generated, this would have a lot of factors that need to be accounted for. Rest assured this would be raised as a suggestion to the development team.

In the meantime, let us know if you require any other assistance. We're happy to help.

Cheers,
