Please allow us to edit the Payslip template in MYOB Essentials.
I have employees who are on hourly and some on salary. The hourly rate showing on the salary payslip and the annual salary showing on the casual hourly rate payslip is misleading and looks very unprofessional.
The layout of the Payslip is also not well thought out. Very sad indeed.

Can we please have the payslips in the new essentials formatted to look like the payslips in the old essentials.
The old essentials payslips were clean, simple & clear and we could have our logo on them, the payslips in the new essentials just look cluttered and unprofessional by comparison

Is there anywhere we can customize the new sytle payslips, I wish to have my logo on them. Prefferably not as a watermark.

I like neat and orderly payslips with ability to add a logo.
I would also like a text box.
I add employee info for pays & superanuation, including directions on how to view thier pay info via their MyGov A/c.
Just part of my service to our employees.
A company payslip can make them feel appreciated and apart of our business and and not just a 'tax form'
Hope I sound more PR then OCD.

We have few casuals in our payroll. I need to amend their Payslip so not to show their Annual Salary as they are paid by the hour.
I have created a customised payslip deleting the field for Annual Salary, however I need to relate it to employee cards as I still need to show the Annual Salary field for permanent employees.
How is this 'New' payslip format acceptable.Upgrades are meant to maintain existing formats/functionality or better
The layout is not appealing much like a raw spreadsheet draft
The super amount can appear to be a payment directly to the employee,this should be reported seperately,accounting description is not relevant
There is no total for net amounts detailing the net pay amount in the header i.e hard for employee to quickly check if detail lines matches total net pay
I agree with previous poster,the logo is important as many businesses have trading names which identify them to government authorities and banks etc
As someone else also brought up, please update in some way that annual salary is not shown on payslip for casual employees. Our casual employees do not have set hours every week. It automatically calculate basic hours (which casual employees do not have but instruction said that I have to put some numbers so I entered average possible hours but not necessary correct) x hourly rate x 52 weeks! Our casual worker does not necessary work 52 weeks so every time I issue a payslip, I have to tell everyone to disregard the annual salary shown on the payslip. Please fix this asap. Also please make it possible that we do not have to enter basic hours for casual workers. They are casual therefore there is no basic hours.
For quote and invoice number, I noticed that for example, when I create new invoice, it sometimes carry out following number from last quote, instead of last invoice, or vice versa. Invoice number and quote number are not necessary same for all companies so I hope it can be fixed to carry out number for new quote from last quote, and carry out number for new invoice from last invoice.

Agree whole heartedly. Very dissapointed with the new layout, annual salary not being able to be removed the biggest of my frustrations.
Payslips are terrible on the new system. Formatting is unprofesisonal and wording is diffcult to read. Please revert to template used in the old system.
I agree, Let us to modify the payslip or revert back to old format atleast for now.
I agree. The old payslip was perfect! The new one shows my hourly rate in the hours worked column and the hours worked in the houly rate column.
I cant change this.

Agree. They look very unprofessional and are difficult andconfusing to read.
The annual salary appearing is unhelpful. There are no clear totals in columns for period and YTD. Columns also mix content eg hours and $.
Very unimpressed.
Please revert to the old format payslip.
I prefer the old layout which also included the superannuation and employee bank account details so they knew where their money was going. I agree, payslip needs to be more customisable and not just a copy of the AccountRight payslip template which is so outdated.
I agree. The new version of MYOB Essentials is horrible. It is very fixed and does not allow for flexibility like the old version. Everything is difficult to find and navigate.
The pay slips are terrible. My staff don't like them and either do I. Please fix this
I think this is a very important feature . We should be able to edit the payslip & be able to edit the invoice and quotes with more options
