Leading Zeros

Hi, we have recently noticed that MYOB is deleting the zeros off our invoice numbers. (but only some of them????)

Eg. 25478 = 00025478

and 26432=26432 ????

why it's picking it's own numbers I don't know????

Is there a switch somewhere that you go and turn leading zeros On our Off?

Re: Leading Zeros

Hi @NowHolly70

Apologies for the delay in response.

If you manually overwrite an invoice number, the next sequence will start from the same number. As an example, if you type the invoice number to be 00025478, the next number will be 00025479.  In the previous versions, if the invoice number was less than 8 digits, the leading zeroes were automatically added but in the latest update, invoice numbers can be less than 8 digits.

Kind regards,
Komal
