Final Pay

I have a staff member who resigned without giving the required notice and our employment agreement allows for the equivalent sum be forfeited. This would be easy if the employee had worked hours before there resignation, but they resigned just as the new pay week started.

My question is, how do i subtract the required days of notice and the dollar ammount from there final pay?

Re: Final Pay

Hi @Gordy56

Which Payroll system?

You would create a deduction code call Notice in Lieu and put in the hours/amount you are going to deduct.

Process the final pay with this amount included.
