As you would appreciate we have lots of account categories that are no longer used. The unused categories have been made "inactive" but cannot be deleted as they have transactions would like to know if they can be removed ? Am I missing something can they be deleted or is this not an option Even one's more than 7 years old with no activity to align with the document retention guidelines would be great Re: Purging old account Categories Just some feed back and another question The fix is working well, you do have to flag the accounts as "active" (if inactive) and I found that I needed to sign out and then back in to "reset" the accounts so they show in the drop down list. One issue I have found that accounts/credit cards that were linked to "Bank Feeds" will not permit combining. The accounts in question have the Bank Feed cancelled in "manage bank Feeds" - any Ideas ??? Re: Purging old account Categories Thank you - didn't even consider this option - it will at least reduce the number of inactive categories Re: Bank feeds not working today Also with Westpac and Bank Feeds have not come through yet - A bonus is they are aware of the issue Re: Cannot get bank feeds I have my Bank feed but they want match to the transactions ! Re: Order of Names in Payroll Its so WRONG in 50 years of administration NEVER had to file using the first name always the SURNAME Order of Names in Payroll When is MYOB going to fix the order of names in the Payroll to sort using the SURNAME - I do not know of ANY filing system that uses the First (Christian) name as the point of reference - ITS JUST WRONG Re: Employees - List by surname Have asked for the change several times- Listing names by their First name is WRONG and is not standard practice Re: Employees List Alphabetically by First Name NOT Surname They need to change the DEFAULT as its WRONG !!!!
