Changing dates when changing Sales Quotes/Orders to Invoices Hi Team, Long time desktop AccountRight user here. If I had just one wish, just one, it would be when changing predated quotes/orders to open invoices, it would automatically change to today's date. My sales team often convert existing orders to invoices adhoc throughout the day, often without changing the date. I am responsible for sending out the end of day invoices in a batch. All accidental pre-dated invoices often miss the batch. When customer payments are made 30 days later, even though statements have been sent, customers will more than likely miss payment on that particular invoice because they hadn't received it. When goods are received from our suppliers, MYOB automatically defaults "receive items" to todays date. For the sake of consistency, wouldn't it just make sense to do the same when invoicing? Re: Emails being sent as plain text Hi Ryan_B , To combat the 'a program is trying to send email on your behalf' allow/deny prompt we have historically used a 3rd party program named ClickYes Pro, using the outlook.exe file path to allow automatic sending of emails. This recently began to fail and allow/deny returned. Problem was resolved after adding the path below to ClickYes Pro. C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\AccountRightServerEdition\app-2022.900.247350\Huxley\Huxley.Application.exe I'm assuming it's this exe file that is responsible for sending emails in text format and not the preferred html. Into the future we would like to take our mobile devices into the field as we provide vendor stock management for several companies & would love to be able to easily create quotes to top up stock on the go. Cheers Bruce Item number column width in browser Hello to all, Is there any way to increase the column width for items on the browser addition of AccountRight? When entering an item number, a dropdown appears offering a selection of possibilites. Unfortunately I can only view around 16 characters before the item description overlaps the item number. MYOB allows 30 characters & many of our part numbers have similar prefixes so it is difficult to select the correct item from the dropdown. I will attach an example. All help appreciated. Thanks! Re: Sales import Help with Error-25 please Thanks CloverQ, MYOB exports to excel to 2 decimal places which threw the figures out as some of our pricing goes to 4 decimals. A quick tidy up as per your advice & I was able to import without errors. I wish MYOB had some kind of Order Merge so I didn't have to mess around with import/export. Thanks again for your help. Re: Sales import Help with Error-25 please Hi Maxine_BC, In this instance, I am exporting 5 seperate invoices from MYOB, "Tidying them up" & then importing as one consolidated order as per our customers wishes. It used to work well with Premier. By tidying up I generally: remove gaps between invoices make the date the same remove comma's from quantities create new order number I appreciate you help.
