But the tax witheld amount i calculated is more than three times the tax MYOB is suggesting. Is this correct? He has 41.783 hours unused annual leave calculated at $25 per hour. which is gross $1227.38. On Myob the tax for this is $104. But my calculation shows $364 tax amount!!! which is way too high. His normal gross pay is $1900 and normal tax on that is $254. can anyone do the calculations for me and reassure me before I process his final pay? Thank you Re: Leave tracking info Thanks for your reply Doreen. The holiday leave accrual entitlement is linked to holiday leave only. Since the same category (holiday leave, holiday leave loading) is selected for all employees and if i click on these categories it is the one and only, I am a bit confused how there are two different outcomes. The only thing different about these two employees is that they used the self onboarding feature. Others were entered manually. Will this have any impact if i ignore this? Leave tracking info Hi, When doing a payrun today, i noticed that leave tracking information prompts when putting in holiday leave hours for old employees but not for 2 new employees. However, i can click on the blue arrow and it comes up. I have checked the entitlement categories and all. It is the same for all employees. So not sure why it is not prompting for these new employees only. See attached for reference Incorrect Accounts Receivable statement Hi, One of my customers had multiple open invoices (for $150each). He made a payment of $500. I used that payment against multiple invoices. eg. there were 8 open invoices for $150 each for that customer. I used $450 to fully close off 3 invoices. and $50 was partially applied to the 4th invoice. Then I sent him an updated statement. But the statement shows the wrong amount due. It has removed the 3 closed off invoice from the statement but doesn't show that $50 has been reduced from the 4th invoice. Instead of showing the amount due $700, it shows $750. When I checked the balance in MYOB, it shows the correct figure ($700). How do i rectify this and send the correct statement? Employee self on boarding Hi, i created a new employee on Myob yesterday and processed a future dated payroll for her. This afternoon, i received an email saying the said employee had completed their employment details. i went back to employee list to see if there was a double up. I only see 1x file for that employee. Which is great for now. But not sure if they are hidden somewhere that i don’t know about. I do not want two payment summaries for her or any problems with her payroll i processed yesterday for next week. Will this have any impact/ double ups for eofy summary or payroll reporting? SolvedRehiring employee Hi, i had a full time employee who wanted to change from full time to casual. i did final pay and unused holiday/ long service payout “upon termination”. Instead of upon service by mistake. So i had to report him terminated in stp2. I do not want to open a new card for him on myob as that would create two payment summaries at EOFY. I read on ATO website that we can just undo termination on stp2 and start paying as normal. Can someone please confirm i do not need to do anything else? Also on his employee card on Myob, Do i need to change the start date to new start date as casual? Or keep same start date as 10 years ago? Other than changing his employment to casual and removing all entitlements what else do i need to do please? Do i need to make changes in super clearing house as well? Or keep paying super as normal? Thank you SolvedRe: Electricity Offset Thanks Alan. Electricity Offset Hi, We have received an offset from synergy for $2500. Our bill came to around $483 which has been offset and now the balance on our bill is $2017 in credit. How do I enter this on MYOB? My initial thought is (SERVICE LAYOUT) Electricty account 6-XXXX $483 (GST) and Electricity A/C 6-XXXX $-2500 (FRE). This brings the balance to $-2017 which i will apply to future electricity bills?? Is this the right way to do it? SolvedRe: Financial Year Roll Over I have rolled back a year and successfully closed the sale from previous year and opened a new sale for the same customer on today's date and applied credit to it. So far so good. I went and checked the BAS/GST report for that time period Jan 19 to Mar 19 (the sale was dated feb 19) there is no change in any amounts in the BAS/GST. What other effect could this sale have on my accounts. I have tried reaching out to my accountant but they are away for XMAS/New year period. Now i am planning to close the year and move to this financial year but thought I will ask before I do that. Re: Financial Year Roll Over Thanks Steven. I reversed and closed the sale with no payment. That was easy. With the one with partial payment, I thought, after I generate the credit, the sale will automatically close and move to credit and returns. Then I would open a new sale and apply the remaining balance to that sale. But when I reversed the sale it was still unmodifyable even if I put current date. My question is, If I do a roll over to last financial year will it let me modify the sale and allow me to use the partial credit to a new sale for the customer?
