Long Service Leave Trying to set up long service leave and the following examples totally confuse me. They appear to have the same criteria yet difffent result (working same hours per week yet example 1 is entitled to 8.6667 weeks and example 2 entitled to 13 weeks). Example 1: Say your employees work a 38 hour week (7.6-hours x 5 days). After 10 years of continuous service they’re entitled to 1 week of leave for every 60 weeks they’ve worked. So, after 10 years of continuous service, they’re entitled to 8.6667 weeks of long service leave. Example 2: Say your employees work a 38 hour week (7.6-hours x 5 days). After 10 years of continuous service they’re entitled to 13 weeks of leave (494 hours). They also continue to accrue leave at the rate of 1.3 weeks per year. Can someone explain it to this dummy please. Re: One pay run reported in STP in two financial years resolved One pay run reported in STP in two financial years We did a pay run in June 2023 with pay period 26/6/23 to 2/7/23 and payment date of 30/6/23 Now we have found that 6 out of 87 pays were reported in both the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 financial year. We have spoken to the ATO and they advised us to contact MYOB as it is picking up the wrong data. This is rather urgent as financial year is about to end and we will need to finalise STP but can't until this is fixed.
