In the past, the customer was able to receive the payment receipt which gives the breakdown: invoice paid + credit card surcharge amount. But this seems to be not the case anymore? How can I send the payment receipt to customer which reflect the breakdown as it was in the past? Many thanks. Re: STP report rejected by ATO Thanks for your help Tracey! STP report rejected by ATO Hi there, One of the reports for STP reported has been rejected by ATO, but since then I have processed further payroll for this employee and they have all been accepted. I also checked the YTD amount is correct. My questions are: 1. Would the old rejected report will remain the rejected status in MYOB? 2. If the YTD amount is correct, does that mean the latest figure has been updated despite the 'rejected' status on the previous STP report? Thank you in advance. MV SolvedRe: Salary Sacrifice and PAYG Lodgement Thank you so much for the clarification Tracey :) Re: Salary Sacrifice and PAYG Lodgement Hi Tracey, Thanks for the reply. So if I lodge the IAS via ATO Portal, I would just have to manually deduct the salary sacrifice component from the regular gross pay. Is that correct? I've checked through the payroll reporting centre STP, and the gross amount is showing the reduced pay correctly. It's just the Payroll Activity summary is still showing Normal full amount gross wages and the salary sacrifice component under deduction. Thanks again for your help :) Salary Sacrifice and PAYG Lodgement Hi There, We had 2 staff members who purchased computer as part of their salary sacrifice. I understand this is exempted from FBT and the PAYG withholding will be calculated based on the reduced income. The payroll activity summary via MYOB is still showing the regular pay full amount under Wages, and the salary sacrifice component is showing under Deductions. When I lodge the monthly PAYG to the ATO: 1. Do I show the full regular amount under W1 or deducted amount? 2. If it's full regular amount under W1, where do I allocated the deduction component in the lodgement? Thanks again for your input and help. SolvedRe: Salary sacrifice computer purchase Hi Melisa, Thanks for the reply. So essentially, if the normal fortnightly pay is $2,500, and for that same pay period, although the salary was reduced by $500 due to salary sacrifice computer purchase, the superannuation guarantee will be still calculated based on 9.5% x $2,500 - is that right? Thanks again. Cheers. Salary sacrifice computer purchase Hi there, We have a staff member who wanted to salary sacrifice a laptop purchase. From my understanding, this arrangement is exempted from FBT and the payroll will be processed as: - PAYG withhold is calculated based on the reduced gross wages - what about the 9.5% superannuation guarantee? Do I calculate the SGC based on the normal gross wage or reduced gross wage? Really appreciate your help and input. Cheers. M Solved
