window size for data entry
i know this is been done so many time but deary me (i have toned down the language here!) this is utterly ridiculous....how in the blazes are we supposed to do data entry (oooppss i forgot - we are all idoits and AI is supposed to do it for us!) i am working on a large screen 80cm size and yet my data entry window is 20cm and the invoice preview is about the same....this is so bad MYOB please get this fixed. it matters not how low this is on the priority list - people are still doing the work here NOT ROBOTS35Views0likes1CommentMYOB assist
Hi MYOB Team, I have many clients using MYOB and the capture app was perfect. Now this new myob assist has changed things. if logged in your software why do we need to logg into the app everytime just to take a photo of a receipt. why is it that this cant be linked?????? i dont have time to be contiuously logging into an app just to take a photo of a receipt. I can guarantee you - my clients will NOT be using their phone to access MYOB they just want to capture a receipt aka the capture app - thats why my client have me as their BAS agent so i do the work all they want is the ability to give me the information. BY THE WAY QUALITY OF THE PHOTO IS DISGUSTING!!!!! I have a new phone so no excuses for blaming the phone. Secure how????? when most are the main users at least give the option of being able to switch this feature on or off. very very inefficient when being logged off every 2 to 3 minutes even though dont need 2FA still need to re logg on- so just adds to inefficiencies to the boss, users and employees who need to work effectively....i can understand after an hour or so but this really not efficient.41Views1like0Commentsscreen size for data entry
hi there, PLEASE fix the issue with the size of the available screen when creating a bill directly from the intray. Cannot view the entire purchase and thus need to use the mouse to move things around to view the account, the amount etc. makes for data entry very very slow. in fact the account right version is way faster and much more accurate as dont need to use the mouse to manouveur around the screen or the lines. In accountright the bill can be viewed on a separate screen when entering the invoice. the online version or MYOB business version has made data entry and general bookkeeping functions extremely slow and is in some ways is a huge down grade from account right. Plus the inventory on the browser is terrible - account right is far superior. In fact accountright program is FAR SUPERIOR in every aspect including bank feeds and matching. The feature better in myob business is the fact the when creating a sales invoice which is very similar to previous invoice, then a simple save and copy then just changing date and a few items makes for creating invoice quick, and the recoding feature is good. cant even set credit limits nor standard credit terms for customers. cant attach documents eg sick leave certs or notes on the payroll....please also fix the ability to attach a receipt to the spend money feature....why is this not a feature44Views1like2CommentsNotes section in employee card files
with payroll there used to be a nice little area in the employee card file where we could add notes regarding and discplinary actions, and discussion notes etc etc that was used to referr back to.....with the "new" browser based that feature has now been taken away....where now can we add notes on employee records. that would wonderful if that could be added back, but alas i dont have much hope as we long term MYOB users and partners seem to have been forgotten.87Views0likes3Commentspayroll stp choices not extensive enough
how do we report STP correctly when pur options for certain payroll items dont have the stp categories? for example with child support deductions the stp reporting is - deduction type D Myob's options: shown in screen shot. also there is a PEA - Protective Earning amount stipulated by the Child support Agency how is the person processing the payroll ( client with very limited knowledge and doesnt want bookkeeping form to process much of her data) supposed to ensure the conditions according to CSA and ATO are met and also process the pays correctly? the online chat support had no idea what the topic of conversation was and was only able to provide support notes - which were irrelevant as setting up and actual deduction is not the issue. and then they also conveniently ended the chat - great service!!!!! so the only option i have is to select NOT Reportable which is totally incorrect.
