Issues with image uploads
I'm having an issue with photo uploads to some item pages. When I upload an image it will appear fine and then when I click away to another page and back again it will become tiny (see attached image). I am starting to suspect it is an upload error on MYOB's side as I have tried multiple ways of troubleshooting in my attempt to fix it but there is also no real correlation between the images that won't upload correctly and the ones that will. I know that images can't be larger than 200kb so the ones that I needed to upload that had bigger file sizes were compressed, however, this is not something I did to all the images that came out tiny and most of the ones that were compressed work perfectly. I tried saving them in different file types but there is no pattern emerging that it is caused by a PNG rather than a JPEG for example. I thought to screenshot the original image and then upload the screenshot but that made no difference. I have edited the pixels to be 100 as is MYOB's preferred size and it has not had any effect, I have uploaded several images with larger pixel sizes that have uploaded perfectly with no compression or resizing or resolution issues to speak of so it's not a case of pixel size either. I really don't know what else to try, has anyone else had this issue? Does any one know of a way to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.103Views0likes1CommentExport Item Pricing
Hi there, When I use the Import/Export Assistant to export the Item masterfile, it only exports to 2 decimal places. This is not an excel issue as it is only 2 decimal places even in TXT file. Can someone please guide me on what settings to change in MYOB to export to 4 decimal places? Thanks, StephItems: Set negative price for items (discounts)
Since the new upgrade, I can no longer use my premade discounts because you can't use negative values in invoices. This was handy because I could jst type the Item ID, hit ENTER or TAB and it was done. Now I either have to have create additional items with discounted values built in (EXTRA WORK) or manually add a discount % to an invoice and then edit the description line to explain what the discount was for. The discount percentages aren't always whole numbers (i.e. 10%, 25%), but often varying values, so this is a pain too. I'd not to have the ability to use my old premade discounts! Essentials currently has the ability to print an "Item Sales Report" showing Item number, Item Name, Quantity sold, $ Amount sold. It can also run a report titled "Items List Report". On that report there is an unused column titled "Units on Hand". Can you please add the ability to enter the quantity of items purchased when creating and editing "Items" and also have that populate to "Units on hand" in the report "Sales Item List"? If you could right click on an item in the inventory list and have a short cut to the 'find transactions for an item' we would use this all the time I'm sure others out there would use it too, to find the sales history of a particular item. It would be a great time saver if it could be done in just a couple of clicks. Thanks "Sales History short cut from Inventory List"2.7KViews4likes1CommentItems: Build items
Hi we have multiple items that we put together as a kit. Currently we are addding each individual item In my older version of MYOB we could create one item eg. ABCD KIT and attach certain different stocked items to it. When invoicing/quoting we just entere ABCD KIT and it automatically listed and accounted for the individual items from stock. I hope it makes sense. "JOB Bill of materials"508Views1like0CommentsSales: Enter Unit and Amount, let system calculate the Unit Price
G'day, It would be very handy if one could put in the quantity and the final price and then the unit price would be automatically derived from that. This is especially handy if you know the final price and have an odd unit (like 1.5 buckets of sand), but you aren't sure of the unit price (yet you want the customer to see that you gave them 1.5 buckets of sand. It would be extremely useful to have the option to print Sales Reports in summary form in Essentials, as per the options in Account Right, as most reportsd are far too long. eg. the Sales by Item report under Sales options, lists sales by product codes but it lists in the body of the report, every customer who purchased that product for each product code. The option to simply have each code listed and the total salesfor that product shown, so that the report could be 10 or so lines long instead of several pages.
