Do NOT include Online Payments by default with Secure Invoicing.
Upgrading to Secure Invoicing should not be connected by default to Online Invoice Payments. These two things should be separate. For MYOB users to continue emailing Invoices requires the mandatory upgrade to Secure Invoicing - fine. But it SHOULD NOT cause the activation of Online Invoice Payments by default. And the option to "not allow" isn't working universally. Until that flaw is completely fixed, Online Invoice Payments must be separate from Secure Invoicing upgrades.
Modification of Invoice templates in the browser version of AccountRight
It would be really nice if ALL the functionality of the desktop version of AccountRight was available in the browser version. For example: invoice templates cannot be modified in the browser version. Neither can a modified invoice template be selected as a default invoice template. Quite a few reports are not available in the browser version, and many of the ones that are available cannot be modified in the same way. The browser version of AccountRight is very much a dumbed-down version.
Search Invoices By Keywords Within The Invoice Description
A feature that we would really like MYOB AccountRight to have is the ability to search the invoice description by keyword. We use the “Service” type invoice and often type something like “For the fabrication of custom mud guards” in the description on an invoice. Often we want to look up previous invoices and we know what the job was, such as fabricating mud guards, but we don’t remember what the invoice number or date was. If we could search for “mud guards” and all invoices with those words in the description would show up, then that would be very helpful for us. We did use a different accounting software program in the past and it was a feature that they had which was very handy!
