I would like to be able to add a service date to my invoices, so I can do once a week billing. NDIS require a date service was supplied and MYOB does not have that function.
this means I have to do a seperate invoice for every service I provide. Even if that’s 7 services in a week for same client!

I often do monthly invoices so a service date would be good, the platform I used before had this.
Guys click the vote button of the original post and hopefully this will get added quicker.
Adding a service date needs to be an option for all service providers! My NDIS clients need the service date, and now I lose time each week having to add it in manually. Please add this feature!

Date Completed or Service Completion is a must have for freelancers. Don't understand why such a basic field can't be added to the invoice templates. I suppose it's a way to force you to subscribe to the more customizable accounts.

Hi Chelle2025 , I need dates on my invoice lines as well, so I just type them before adding text. You can save the invoice and come back to it to add more lines as often as you need before (? re-dating and) sending it out. The first line could include text reading "Week ended...", then a new line within the same field with the service details

Hi Mike, I don’t know how to actually do that when I have pre-set codes and services that I pick from a drop-down box. It doesn’t let me type anything extra into it. Because they are a pre-set service with a specific code that is on each line.

Hi Chelle2025 , sorry, I had assumed you were using the service layout. For item layout, you can still add text to the description provided, so adding a date manually is possible, and then consider my other suggestions.

This is being updated due to low engagement (comments & votes) from the community in the last 6 months. Please be advised that the idea has still been added to our developer backlog, but it will have less traction getting prioritised without more votes. A further review will happen in another 6 months where we will either close or re-open this idea based on the number of votes accumulated in that time.

Hi all… this needs to be an option for all service providers…
I provide multiple services with different rates at different locations per day and have to manually enter a date in each description box plus a service docket no for customers to cross check on their admin side
Previous hard drive version had it in template section….. now its cloud based, many options have vanished
