Payslip Descriptions
Hi, Since the beginning of the new FY all our employee payslips have an entitlement category description not showing correctly on their payslip. Instead of it being listed as Rostered Day Off, the description is Personal Leave to which there is already a line item for. The payroll categories are set up and linked correctly, the description is correct too. The entitlement itself with YTD figures are accruing correctly it is just the description name that is printed out, or emailed on the payslips which is incorrect. I have tried numerous things to fix it. I did an update event through STP and checked the payslips and they came out correct. However when we process the actual pay run it reverts back to the incorrect way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.17Views0likes1Comment
Pre-schedule payslip sending
I normally process payroll over the weekend with payment on Wednesday every fortnight. I prefer the payslip to be emailed on the same day of the payment. Is it possible to schedule the payslip sending for a future day (say Wednesday)? Dear MYOB support, Please make changes to the payslip template on MYOB Lite version, the presentation is very poor. The spaces between each line are different, the margin is out and certain font cap for no reason. The whole presentation is just very poor. Didn't mean to shame whoever designed this template (it might be an AI), but my 10 years old daughter can do a better job than this. I understand its the cheapest subscription, I am not expecting a 5-star service with a 3-star rate. But please at least fix the payslip template. Thank you.Solvedpayslips memo
Dear. whom it may concern. I hope this message finds you well. Presently, we have been employing the phrase "please do not use" as the preset value in the memo section of the payslip. Our current consideration revolves around removing this default value. In the course of my research, it has come to my attention that the options typically suggested involve either removing the memo category from the payslip through the path menu setup->Customise Forms, or individually removing the default value from each employee's card file under the standard pay settings. May I inquire whether these are indeed the exclusive approaches available? I am keen to know if there exists an alternative procedure that would allow us to efficiently eliminate the default value notes for all employees in a batch manner. Copy of Employee Payslip
I write in support of many recent and past requests to provide the Employer with copies of the precise Payslip information that is emailed to the Employees each week. Unfortunately, MYOB Payroll does not, to my knowledge, provide an efficient and practical method of meeting this requirement, and the current Payroll Advice report provides similar, but not identical, information to the Employer. I agree with past commentators that a copy of the Employee Payslip email is not only a reasonable request, it is also a fundamental assurance tool for both the Employer and the Accountant, Bookkeeper and Payroll Officer in respect of managing the Statutory (Fair Work Act) obligation that the Employer has to issue Payslips “… within one working day of pay day … “ and with specified content. The failure of MYOB to provide a workable and practical solution, by simply allowing a second email address for each payslip, is incongruous with good management, and is well documented by numerous users of the software as the Employer, Bookkeeper, Payroll Officer, and Accountants seek to manage complex Payroll compliance. In addition, the Payroll Advice Report that I send to Employers each week is the only report (as opposed to customised documents – e.g. the Payslip) that includes the content of Payroll payments / Payslips that can be produced out of the MYOB reporting system. Unfortunately, the report is unable to be customised in any manner, other than selection of Employees and Date Ranges. As mentioned above, I agree wholeheartedly, that the efficient and practical provision of a copy of the Payslip is a reasonable expectation (and requirement) of Employers and should be available to licensed users and customers of the MYOB AccountRight program. MYOB – could you please pick up this issue and rectify the shortcomings in the Payroll Reporting and Email systems as a priority.370Views0likes2Comments
