Ability to attach RCTI when sending Remittance Advice.
When sending Remittance Advice email, having an ability to attach the RCTI would be immensely helpful. Description: In MYOB Business Pro, we can create Recipient Created Tax Invoices (RCTIs) via the Bills module. However, there is currently no option to email the RCTI directly to contractors. The only supplier-facing notification available is the Remittance Advice, which is generated after recording payment. This creates a compliance issue because under ATO requirements, businesses issuing RCTIs must provide a copy of the RCTI to the supplier. A Remittance Advice does not meet this requirement, as it is only a payment notification and does not include the mandatory tax invoice details. At the moment, I am forced to manually export/print the Bill and email it outside of MYOB. This is time-consuming and creates extra work. Other accounting software (e.g. Xero) already provides the ability to send RCTIs directly, so MYOB should offer the same functionality to remain competitive and compliant. Why this is important: Ensures ATO compliance for businesses issuing RCTIs Saves time by eliminating manual emailing Provides contractors with consistent, professional documentation directly from MYOB Brings MYOB in line with competitor functionality (e.g. Xero) Suggested solution: Add the ability to email RCTIs (Bills) directly to contractors, using customisable templates (similar to how invoices are emailed to customers).How to attach RCTI to Remittance advice?
Hello experts, We create RCTI for our suppliers via 'Create Bill'. 'Record Payment' against the bill. We the do 'Send Remittance Advice' At step 3, we want to attach the RCTI to the remittance advice email. How do you we do that? Is there a feature to send RCTI via email using MYOB? (currently we export the pdf and send email with attachment using normal email) Thank you for your help. PS: There is no tech support from MYOB that we pay for? Do we have to rely on community to get things answered? Are they kidding?Solved
