my.myob is being retired. From now on, My Account will be the single place for you to manage your MYOB account.

Use My Account to manage:

  • Subscriptions – View and manage your subscriptions, including upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, or renewal.
  • Business and contact information – If you’re the primary or billing contact, you can manage your business details and update contact information.
  • Billing contacts – Assign or update the billing contact for your account.
  • Personal details & security – Manage your name, email, and phone number, and set up or edit two-factor authentication methods.
  • Billing & payments – Access your bills and manage your payment method.
  • Support cases – Log and track your open support cases.

If you use my.myob to manage users, or bank feeds, this can now be managed within MYOB Business or AccountRight.

Please note - if you’re using AccountRight offline, going forward you’ll need to move your file online to manage or create a new bank feeds connection. See more about moving your file online

    Hi,

My subscription isn't showing in My Account?  In my.myob recent MYOB invoices aren't showing and when I look at my subscriptions it's showing very old information ie. it shows Due 1/9/21 for $120.  I want to cancel this particular subscription, can I do this from my.myob with that very old information?

        Hi Amanda,

I've been the administrator for this company for the last 10 years and have full access so I don't think that's the issue.  I can see our invoices in My Account, it's my.myob that only shows old data. But My Account doesn't show the subscription details and my.myob shows old info from 2021. Not helpful

  • We currently have over 30 pages of subscriptions - are you going to make the giant list of subscriptions in myaccount searchable or at least sortable by account - at the moment it's a painstaking page by page search to try and find a subscription to manage.

The my.account subscription management as it is, is basically unusable for an accounting practice.  Retiring my.myob is a GIANT step backwards.   We'll just start doing service requests instead for basic changes.

    Regards

    Greg

      Hi Camerons and Ricko
I am going to confirm with the team whether there is any update I can provide here and I will get back to you with more information once I have it.

        Hi again Camerons and Ricko

There will be a change to myaccount that will make this easier, but it is not the solutions you have mentioned around filtering or alphabetical.
These options are still something our development team can consider in future.

What will change however, is that the list of subscriptions presented to you, will only be based on the account you select rather than the user.

So today when you access My Account, and you select an account (CID), when you go to manage subscriptions, this shows you all subscriptions associated with you as a user, regardless of the account you have selected.

Going forward, when you go to manage subscriptions, you will only see subscriptions associated with the account you are viewing.

        Regards, Mike

  •  I currently have AccountrightPlus, i have two companies that i run;

    1. My main file is online, i run payroll but i work mainly from the Desktop version (as i prefer its functionalility compared to the online version of AccountrightPlus and
    2. the second file is only a dekstop version i manually import bank statement for that one but only want this file on my deskstop

    Questions

    1. Will i still be able to use my desktop version for my file that is online
    2. and, are you saying that i will no longer be able to have my second company file only on my desktop.

If i am forced to run my files in your online platform i think i will actually make the move to Xero as i prefer its online version. But i have been using MYOB since it was first released so i thought i would double check before i take my business to Xero

Can you please explain what MYOB looks like going forward to me

    regards

    Tracy

      Hi Tracy Pearlhq

It will depend on the version of AccountRight that you have
If you are using the latest version of AccountRight, this can still be operated either online of offline, there is no change there.

The note in the email you received is specifically talking about managing bank feeds. That going forward, the file will need to be online to create new or manage existing feeds.

Because you mentioned you manually import bank statements to your desktop file, there will be no change/impact for you

  • Is My Account going to be searchable or a least in Alphabetical order
