EFT Reconciliation Report

I am unable to log a job with MYOB because My Myob is down.

The issue i have is i am unable to download my EFT Reconciliation Report through MYOB Accountants Enterprise due to "Unable to connect" issue.

We are connected to the internet so i dont see how that is the problem. I havent been able to download a report in almost two weeks.

How do i fix this so i can start retrieving our EFT Reconsiliation Reports.

I currently follow the below steps:

-Task manager - End task "Cisco Interface"

-Open a 2018 tax return

-Lodgement

-Electronic

-Lodge

-Retrieve reports only

-Connect now

  • Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the community forum and thank you for your question!

I believe your questions has now been answered when support got in contact with you.

As the ATO has switched off ELS lodgments from the 1st of April, all reports will need to be retrieved and downloaded via PLS now. The minimum version you will need is 2018.1 to use this function.

      Hi Sandy,

We have downloaded the latest version of AE like requested.

When i go into "Agents Reports" i can now see "EFT Reconciliation Statement", i have tried requesting a "schedule report" and unschedule report" however when i check for the Eft Rec Report in the PLS Reports there is nothing there. I know there should be because i have amounts sitting in our trust account.

I tried setting up a schedule and asked for bank details but still nothing.

        Hello SarahTAX

        Thanks for your question!

When you go into Agent Reports and check the EFT Reconciliation Statement, it should show as scheduled Daily. If it shows as Not Scheduled, you will need to make sure it is Scheduled.

From there, the next thing to check is the Last Requested and Last Received time stamps. This will show the last date and time the EFT report was requested and received. The last date and time should be within the last 24 hours. If not, there will be an error, and most likely you will need to give the support team a call.

If the last date and time is within the last 24 hours, then most likely there were no transactions in the download. A report will only appear if there are transactions within the report. The ATO will only start generating a report from the date the report was first scheduled.

For example, if your last lot of transactions in your trust account were dated 1 May 2019, and you first scheduled the report on 3 May 2019, the EFT reports will only generate reports from 3 May 2019, and you will not receive any reports with transactions. For that situation, where you have transactions prior to the first date you scheduled the PLS EFT report, you will need to give the ATO a call and request that information over the phone.

        Hopefully, this information has helped!
