General Ledger and Banking Balance

Question

One of my bank accounts ledger has a ending balance figure but when I go into the same account in Banking/Spend Money it shows a 0.00 balance.

I have run a general ledger report and found the figure that needs adjustment so my general ledger end balance is 0.00, but if I adjust that figure then in Banking/Spend Money that figure shows in the balance section.

I have checked all entries in the ledger and there are only Cash Receipts (CR) and Cash Disbursements (CD), no journals etc.

I know I'm missing something, be great if someone could help.

Hiyou say you have identified the error.&nbsp;I am assuming that the correct balance of the bank account is $0.00 but is still showing an unreconciled transaction.&nbsp;Usually when you reconcile your bank account any transactions that are unreconciled will remain in the reconcile accounts screen.&nbsp;Depending on the date of the transaction ( BAS implications) I suggest that you create the opposite transaction with exactly the same details as the original.e.g. if it is a spend money do a receive money&nbsp; with the same gl account number and tax code&nbsp;They will cancel each other out and return the bank to $0.00 as required. Any amendments to BAS reporting will also be created&nbsp;Hope that helps&nbsp;Lisa
