Missing bank feeds getting worse
Has anyone else been experiencing missing bank feeds recently? Was never a problem for us until about 6 months ago. Have used MYOB for 10 years but in the last 12 months the service has been getting **bleep**pier and **bleep**pier. Not just more and more missing bank feeds, but in general. They even said they couldn't process a payment we made to them for our online service, and refunded us and told us we had to pay again, then froze our account for not paying! Seriously... What kind of accounting business can't process a supplier payment, no matter how it's made.
But back to the annoying missing bank feed transactions... first we had 2 days missed off bank feeds and weren't aware this could even happen until accounts wouldn't reconcile. Looked up on their online help which was full of excuses which were all nothing to do with it. We have no filters, we reloaded heaps of times, we checked all the things they told us to. We couldn't get any help trying to ring them. So just manually added transactions as they were all already showing on the bank statements, just not in the bank feed. We'd thought it was a one off issue. Then next GST period it happened again, but twice over the two months.
At least we were aware of the issue the next time so when things didn't add, the first thing we did was compare the bank feed to our actual bank statements. Once again got nowhere with trying to ring them. So once again we just manually added the transactions. Then this current GST period, the bank feeds have missed nearly a whole month off in one month and nearly a whole week off in the next month. Be beggared if we're adding all that in manually and this makes the whole MYOB system a joke. Their excuses are full of **bleep** too. The transactions that are missing are ALL showing on both our online bank statements and in paper statements, so there is no way the bank hasn't processed them yet. We have NO filters. We have also refreshed feed many times. This is the 6th lot of missing bank feeds occuring randomly over 6 months which are all showing up in our banking with the bank, just not in our MYOB bank feeds.
They are charging us for a service they are not providing and it's getting worse. We are fed up to be honest. So if other people are also experiencing this problem we're thinking it's time to ditch their useless arses and go somewhere better. The bank said a lot of MYOB customers are complaining to them about the same thing and this has been going on for a long time and to contact MYOB about it, but we're not holding our breathe as they seem totally incompetent.
Be keen to hear from others so if MYOB bullsh!t us that it's somehow us or not a wide spread problem, we can hit the with the evidence that we are far from the only ones.
