decimal places

Hi

We are importing invocies in txt format from a third party to a timebilling invoice format.  When we import the invoices will sometimes have an hourly value to 2 decimal places and others to 5. In the one invoice we can have the same rate appearing in multipe variations.  Is there a way we can fix this rounding and have all rates to 2 decimal places?

Thanks

    Hi Kerrie_N,

This one's a bit tricky! If you're using AccountRight and you need to enter a sale with an item-based layout as tax inclusive but print it out with tax exclusive prices (or the other way around), it can cause rounding issues beyond two decimal places (up to six decimal places) when printed. This happens because of the calculations involved in removing the tax.

Not sure how this would work with third-party software, but hopefully, someone in the community can share their experiences with this, too!

For more info on managing the import process, check out the help page here. Import and export fields
