Accountedge pro V17.4.2A

Hi We have an old data file that currently runs on Accountedge pro V17.4.2A on an old Imac.

 

We have recently upgraded the computer to a Intel Imac 2024 model but it won't open the Accountedge pro.

 

Both computers were Apple.

 

Is there a way we can open this version of MYOB on the new computer, It doesn't have payroll or need it.

We would prefer not to upgrade this data file to a new version of new MYOB, as this works fine for what we need it for.

    Hey knm0741,

     

    Thanks for the detailed note. To keep your old file humming, check the macOS version on the new machine. If it’s running macOS 10.9 to 10.14, AccountEdge Pro v17 will still work. Anything higher than 10.14 won’t run AccountEdge, which is likely why it won’t open on the new iMac. You can double‑check the system requirements through this link
