Issues with generating Reports

Hi I am having significant issues with the "Index to Reports". When I click on "reports" it takes several minutes for the "Index to Reports" window to open and when it finally does it takes another several minutes per click to get to the report I want (if it loads at all). 

 

If I can get it to the point where I have run a Job P&L (for example) and I leave that window open I can modify and re-run the Job P&L as much as needed without any lagging.

 

I am not having any other issues with the speed of MYOB in any other area - I can post journals, invoices and bills, use the Find Transactions function and bank register functions with no lag issues. 

 

I have tried removing and reintalling MYOB on this machine, my colleagues are not experiencing this issue on their machines.

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community Forum. 

     

    I'm sorry to hear about your computer's latency while opening the Index of Reports window. There are no known issues like yours so it might be hard to pinpoint what is causing this latency. In my understanding, latency is caused by the delay of data access. If your file is online the main factor is internet speed, while if your file is on a local server, it could be LAN port speed. I recommend having an IT personnel look into the latter.

     

    Also, you can clear temp files on your computer to see if it is cached data that is holding the computer speed down. Unless there are any error messages, there won't be any entries in the diagnostic log we can explore. So I recommend optimizing the speed of your computer.

     

    In the meantime, feel free to create a new thread if you require anty other assistance.
