Reports

Hi.  When I do a report on Job Profit and loss the report includes all old jobs as well as current. Is there any way to click the report and then select 1 job and not have to unclick all the jobs and select 1 job?

  • Hi Bruce8,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum.

Thank you for flagging this to us. Regarding your concern, by default, most reports within AccountRight will report on all information within the scope of the report. If you were running a report on the jobs within the file, if you did not select specific jobs to report on then all jobs within the file would be reported on when the running the report.

If you tick or untick the Inactive Jobs option in the list of jobs, this alters what jobs can be selected on the list. Note that it does not impact the "All" option and reports on all jobs in the list both active and inactive.

To report on a subsection of the jobs list, such as active jobs, is done by selecting the jobs that you want to report on. You could deselect the inactive jobs option to hide them from the list before selecting the checkbox at the top of the list to select all the inactive jobs, rather than each one individually.

I hope this helps. If you still need assistance with this, or if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to create a new post. We are happy to help.
