New user cannot accept invitation

I have added a new user but when they try to accept the invitation, they receive the following error message "This invitation cannot be accepted at this time. Contact the person who sent you the invitation." I have added a number of people but this is the first time this has happened. Why is this happening?

  • User has never had access to MYOB, except for training that was completed via The Career Academy. Could this be the problem? Not sure if they used work or personal email to register for the training. We tried logging in to MYOB via the desktop and reset password (even though one had not been setup). There are no company files listed in their online library.
