Hi Cel
thanks for responding however in Account Right you can look at transactions within a job via find transactions.
in MYOB business Accounting Menu>>Click Jobs. doesn't seem to show transactions posted to that job.
Can you please advise further.

Hi Earl
My original query was how to look for the transactions posted to a job and edit in MYOB Business.
Neither your response nor the information in the link helps.

Hi Debrae0808
You can find the transactions under the Banking tab and select the source journal and look for the transaction.
Please do let me know how you go on this.

Hi Earl
the source journal in Find Transactions does not include Jobs.
Is there any other way to look for transactions posted in a job and possibly edit them from there.

Hi Debrae0808
To find the transaction posted in a job in your AccounRight you'll need to go to Reports > index to report > select Account > Job Transactions > then Display Report. And to edit the Job Transaction Report just go to Inset/Modify (Upper Left Corner) then select Show Hide.
Please do let me know how you go on this.

Hi Debrae0808
My apologies, Go to the Accounting menu and choose Jobs. The Jobs page appears. Click to open the jobs .
This help article will give you more information about: Jobs in MYOB Business.

HI Debrae0808, Earl_HD
The simple answer is within the Browser, the find transactions screen has no capacticy to filter for jobs or display the job in the transaction list.
This needs to be rectified. This screen was developed prior to the browser supporting jobs and has not been retrofitted when the additional functionality was added.
The best you can do and it is not much of an answer is to print a job profit and loss comparison report for the jobs in question and drill down to the transaction list. This is filtered for the job you have chosen.

Hi Trevor_Harrison & Earl_HD
how do you amend a transaction. ie. change the job No that was allocated incorrectly. You can't get access to transactions from a report.
I only went to the online version after confirmation with the MYOB salesperson that everything I could do with Jobs in AccountRight I could do in MYOB Business onLine. This is a game changer for me..
Is there an ETA for the fix?
