Cant alter pay item Base Hourly

I set up the payroll for a new client and completed a couple of payruns. I initially set up two different Base Hourly pay items because the hourly rate changed between the first and second payruns. I realised afterwards that there was a better way to do this so decided to start the payroll again. 

I deleted the timesheets and payruns so the Base Hourly pay items were no longer in use anywhere and I have removed the association with any employees. Unfortunately though the Base Hourly item I want to use (which was the one already in the system) has changed to 'regular rate multiplied by' which I dont want and I am unable to change it.

So-

The Base Hourly pay item at present shows -:

Pay basis - hourly (which is correct)

Pay rate - regular rate mulitplied by 

                 but I want it to be 'fixed hourly rate of' 

How can I change this?
