final payrun not showing in BAS

We did a final payrun and normal payrun for an employee on the same day.  The BAs is only showing the normal payrun and does not include the Final. How do we fix it?

    Hi Devini1

     

    Totally get why it can raise eyebrows when a final pay doesn’t show in the BAS. First up, open both pays from that day and make sure they’ve posted to the right accounts. Then run your Payroll Activity/Register to double‑check that the figures look right.

    If the reports stack up, it’s usually just the BAS setup. The pay items used in the final pay (such as unused leave or ETP) might not be included in W1/W2 so they won’t appear on the BAS.

    If you need a hand:

    • AccountRight: Go to Accounts > Prepare BAS/IAS > Lodge Manually > Prepare Statement, then click Setup next to W1/W2 and include the right wage/tax categories.
    • MYOB Business (browser): BAS pulls W1/W2 from your payroll item ATO reporting categories. If W1’s missing, review the ATO category on those pay items and refresh the BAS.
