Pay runs and STP reporting to the ATO are different on the MYOB system.

Pay runs and STP reporting to the ATO are different on the MYOB system.

Pay runs are normal calculations, but
STP reporting is treated as zero.

So when I went to report BAS to ATO,
I found that the BAS reports in MYOB  and the STP reporting to the ATO were different.

The BAP reports generated by MYOB were based on pay runs.

However, ATO was pre-filled based on STP reporting, so the PAYG was calculated as almost zero.

    Hi, melbangjoochurc

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

If the STP reporting shows zero amounts for each pay period, kindly check the payroll activity and payroll register summary reports to see if the correct figures are showing up. If the correct figures are showing up on the said reports, you can send an update event to ensure that the ATO will receive the up-to-date figures for your employees. To do this, kindly go to Payroll > Single Touch Payroll reporting > Under the STP reports tab, you should be able to see the "Send update event". Once done, you can check your BAS reports again to see if they have the correct figures.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance with this.

    Best regards,

    Doreen
