Payroll & STP Reports Differ

Hi there, Hoping someone might know the best way fix an issue with a single pay run being reported to the ATO twice but only being recorded in MYOB once. Both the pay runs have been pushed through STP and have been accepted by the ATO. They are recorded only two minutes apart from each other. I can't delete a pay because MYOB is only showing it once, therefore allmy MYOB reports appear to be correct but the ATO has figures that are one pay too high. I have also run an update event through STP, this has done nothing to fix the to probelm either. If I check the YTD reports for these two pay runs, they are exactly the same, so it woudl appeat they are both linked to the same payrun but recorded twice with the ATO.

 

I have attached screenshots of both the pay runs and STP reporting to hopeully explian the issue better. 

 

HELP! How do I fix this so that my employee's end of year report is correct.

    Thanks for sending the screenshots! It looks like this is a bit complex and we’ll need to dive deeper into the data recorded in your payroll activity, register, and the year-to-date (YTD) verification report. If these reports all match, you can disregard the discrepancies in the STP reports. However, if you notice any differences, you'll need to reach out to our support team. You can connect on our live chat through the virtual assistant MOCA or create a support ticket via MyAccount. 

     

    Just a reminder, with STP, your employees' year-to-date figures are sent to the ATO after each pay run, not the totals for each individual pay run.

    Thank you for your reply. I have already logged a support ticket, I was hoping that someone on here might have experienced the same issue and could advise what was done for them to correct it. 

     

    I definetly think MYOB are going to have to dive deeper into this one. All of my MYOB reports are correct because there is only one pay transaction recorded within MYOB. The problem is that the same pay run has been sent via STP 2 and accepted twice by the ATO. Hence why my reports are correct in MYOB but the ATO are showng a higher figure than it should be.

     

    I only have one employee under this company file.

     

    Fingers crossed MYOB can assist in sorting this out, but I'm not going to hold my breath!
