Updating Pay cycle

We are trying to set up for Fortnightly in the MYOB Team but it hasn't updated

  • Hi
Are you trying to setup fortnightly timesheets?
if so MYOB Team is designed for the employee to enter their hours weekly and on approval the timesheets import to MYOB.  From there you can run a payrun either weekly or fortnightly and the timesheets will come in to the payrun depending on the cycle.
    Thanks Chris

    Hi lameyt,

MYOB Team is set to a default weekly pay cycle. It doesn't support fortnightly pay runs. I know that's not ideal if you're running things fortnightly on your end. But if this is something you'd love to see, feel free to pop it on our Ideas Board so our product team can keep it on the radar.

    Regards,

    Sai

    Hi,

I import timesheets into MYOB fortnightly from another platform, but when I check the timesheets in MYOB, they appear as weekly. Is there any way to set up fortnightly timesheets in MYOB?”

    Hi Thungo

Totally get why a fortnightly view would make life easier, especially if you’re paying fortnightly. At the moment, there’s no way to switch the timesheet grid to a fortnight view; it’s week by week only.

The good news is the pay run will still pick up all approved timesheets that fall within the pay period dates, so everyone gets paid right. It just means the checking bit is done weekly, which I know is a bit of a pain.

If you want the software to feature this in the future, you can definitely vote on the Ideas Exchange board to show your support for it.

    Regards,
