Hi
How do we uncheck I inventory this item if we no longer want to hold it in inventory, and recongnise the income and cost directly to the p/l. It wont let us select to uncheck inventory, it says we have journal entries on file that use this item as we have used this item previously as an inventory item. Is there a get around to this?

If you have recorded a transaction using this item, then the historical data will prevent you from removing this checkbox.
You may need to look at marking the item as inactive and adding a 'z' to the front of the item number (optional, this will place the item at the end of the list), and create a new item marked as you need.
