Premier 19.5 app has been blocked for your protection

I still have one client on this and am trying to do their accounts. I went to open a support request and it won't open one - tells me to come here. So does anyone know why I need protection (I have a copy of the client's file here so I can investigate issues - the live file is with them in another town)?

So frustrating at year-end to have these issues. I'll call tomorrow when they're back on deck - but just hoped I might avoid what is sure to be a long wait - which doesn't suit my stroke-damaged brain at all. Listening to muzak is detrimental - I usually hang up with other places.

    Hi PhilANZ , one solution may be to upgrade to 19.8, which does not require a database upgrade, therefore you can upgrade even if the live file remains on 19.5. 

    See myob.com/nz/support/downloads.

     

    You might need to install to a separate folder.

    Hi PhilANZ 

    There's a free 12 months upgrade offer out at the moment to get 19.5 users up to the latest version.

    Thanks Mike - will check that all out. Maybe I should get the client to update too - but they were supposed to upgrade to a newer product last year, so I'll encourage that this year.

  • When you say the latest version, I assume you mean the current product - not 19.8?

    Hi PhilANZ 

     

    AccountRight v19.8 is the last version available in the New Zealand AccountRight Classic product range. (AccountRight 19.16 is the last version for Australian AccountRIght Classic users).


    AccountRight 2019.4 and 2020.1 are the current versions of the AccountRight 20xx product range that jenniek  has indicated earlier on this thread.
