-4153: An unbalanced transaction may not be recorded

Hi MYOB,

I am getting -4153: An unbalanced transaction may not be recorded when importing Purchases into MYOB. Any ideas why is it so ? Attached is a sample copy of the purchase.

Regards,

Welcome to the Community Forum. I have had a look at your import file, and there seems to be a calculation error.

You have put it as a tax inclusive invoice, with a total of $108.96 and tax of $10.90, but it looks like you've worked out $108.96 ÷ 10 to be $10.90, which would be correct if it was tax exclusive.

For tax inclusive you need to do the calculation of $108.96 ÷ 11 = $9.91.

As a test, I have fixed the GST amount and used your import file to see if that was the only issue and it was able to import successfully, so if you fix up the GST amount it should import for you now.
