Cannot create Orders in Sales Register

RE: Creating 'Orders' in Sales Register

I am having trouble creating Orders in the Sales Register (app version)... The only work around I have at the moment is to create the order, change the order to Invoice in the 'Sales Type' (top right hand corner of screen) and then change it back to Order! When I do this I loose all 'Ship to' details AND it is a timeconsuming process!

How do I fix it please?

    Hi PennySullivan,

Thanks for laying out exactly what you’re doing on your end, that makes it so much easier to chase what’s going on. The Ship to details disappears when there’s no address saved on the customer card. I tried this on my side and, as long as the customer card has an address, I can flip the Sales Type from Order to Invoice and back to Order a bunch of times and the Ship to stays put. So the next step is to pop into the customer card, make sure the address is actually entered there, then test creating the order and changing the Sales Type again. If the card’s got a proper address, your Ship to shouldn’t ghost you anymore.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
