Email activity for Customer Statements

Why is it not an option to view the email activity when we send Customer Statements out?

Its available for invoices and quotes so why not for Statements too.

 

I have just found out that statements that I have been sending out each month are not being received even though they show in the email log as being sent.

It would actually be good to be able to view the activity associated with sending out a customer statement, at least then we would know that the said statement was received or not.

 

I also note that a comment thread on the same topic was raised back in 2016 by another user and yet this still has not happened.   Why?? this is something that really should be addressed.

    Thank you for your feedback.

     

    The Online Invoicing feature enables the tracking of when the sent invoices are viewed and paid, this doesn't include statements. If you'd like to see this sent statements being tracked as well, I'd suggest submitting it as an idea on the Idea Exchange board, so other interested users can also comment and vote on it, it'll greatly help our developers to identify trends and prioritise their work.

     

    Meanwhile, you may look into setting up unpaid invoice summaries to keep your customers updated. 

  • We (and one of our suppliers) have had this problem too and affected customers found statement emails in their JUNK folder.  We both changed the email address associated with MYOB (ours was a gmail address) and haven't had an issue since.  Not an ideal work around.
