Is there a way to link a customer in purchase orders in AccountRight Plus?

Question

HI,Are there fields that you can add or insert to the purchase order, perhaps a customer id &amp; customer order number?&nbsp;We buy multiple parts from a supplier then sell to a customer.&nbsp;&nbsp;Some are delivered direct to the customer and some are delivered to us for further assembly.&nbsp; Sometimes delivery on items can take up to 8 - 12 months to be received.&nbsp;&nbsp;These items can be missed unless we export a time consuming report based on description of items on both sales &amp; purchases.(None of these items are stored in inventory)&nbsp;Just wondering if anybody is in the same scenario??&nbsp;Thank you.

Welcome to the Community Forum. You could use the Customer PO No. field for Sales and the Supplier Inv. No. for Purchases to add those details.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
As for the assembling, there is the Auto-Build function that might suit you for keeping track of what items are part of which completed product?

Hi SamaraM,The only problem is I need those fields for the sales invoice for the actual customer's purchase order number &amp; the field for the supplier's invoice.&nbsp; What I need is an extra field that has a down arrow key to select a supplier in the sales invoice and a field that has a down arrow key to select a customer to select in the supplier's bill.&nbsp; This field should only be used for internal use so that the customer and supplier cannot see the details. I have attached a pdf for reference.As far as the rebuild we do not use inventory so a rebuild is redundant.Thank you for your response.&nbsp;Kind Regards,Bev

The software doesn't currently have that ability, but I recommend posting your suggestion on the AccountRight Ideas Exchange.
