MYOB Sales Invoices - Payment option

This is an observation from my bookkeeper.  

With one of the most recent updates from MYOB, correct me if I am wrong, there is now an option available to pay by Card, by entering the appropriate information into the appropriate fields.  Once a successful payment has been made, the payment is automatically applied to the corresponding invoice.

It seems there are fees/Charges associated with the method of payment, and these fees are automatically sent to the 6-1000 (Accounting Fees).

 

My (old-fashioned) bookkeeper asks if this new payment facility can be disabled locally?

 

Answers on a postcard please. :-) -  Trying to keep the peace!!

    You’re not slow at all, and cheers for sharing your version and the screenshot. You'll find the Online Payments button in the Sales command centre. See screenshot below.

    Hi downunder_4500, 

     

    Yep, there’s a Pay now option for invoices, and it does attract fees. If that’s not your thing, you can switch it off:

     

    Settings → Sales settings → Payments → Edit preferences → under Online invoice payments, turn off “Allow online invoice payments” → Save.

    Note: only the business owner or an online admin can change this.

    Hi downunder_4500, 

     

    No worries, you can get to the same Online Payments page from the desktop software. Just head to Command Centre → Sales → Online Payments. That’ll open your browser and take you straight where you need to be.

    I'm a little slow and cannot find that menu option I'm afraid.

     

    Are we using the same version 20225.10.1.3
