Sales orders

Hi ,   I am trying to delete some old Sales Quotes , going back to 2018. At first i thought it was  the dates, but it allows me to delete some, but not others. An error message comes up as  " You are not able to edit this transaction"

Can you please advise why we cannot delete some old Sales Quotes.

    Thanks for your post and welcome here to the Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us. We are sorry to hear that you are facing issues deleting some old sales quotes due to the error message. We appreciate your understanding on this matter. 
     
    Regarding your inquiry, one of the reasons why you are receiving this error is when a transaction is locked and cannot be ticked: 
     
    1) Preference for "Transactions CAN'T be changed. They must be reversed" is ticked under Setup>>Preferences>>Security.  
     
    2) The transactions are in a locked period (this can be changed under Setup>>Preferences>>Security).

      thank you Leneth,   It cannot be those 2  reasons, as  Some  old dated  orders 2019  2020, did delete and others dont. I did  however before i emailed you last week, tick and untick preferences. but that did not make a difference.

       

      I also had another question please.  When  we run reports, and we  save reports  under  the My Custom reports tab.  Am i saving these reports just for me to see, as my self asa  user, OR can they be seen , used, and changed by other users , under their user log in ?  thanks again.  If you could please help with these, and also my other issues , i have  posted seperatly.

        Can you please clear your AccountRight cache? Once cleared, can you please try again? 
         
        In response to your query about the Custom Reports tab, customized reports are saved within your company file, making them accessible to anyone with access to that specific file. Furthermore, I've noticed your other posts and one of our moderators has already addressed it. If you have any other specific issues, we suggest starting a new post, and one of our moderators will assist you.
