Two Business Names

When I log into MYOB I have TWO business names because my OLD accountant did not want to help with the transfer to my NEW accountant, so we just set up a new one [see screen shot attached]. They both have identical names.

 

We are trying to delete the OLD (not used) option when I log in. I called MYOB today and spoke with TWO people. Both asked repeatedly for the business NAME I want to remove. I repeatedly explained they are both the same name, and I gave the serial number for the one I am using [I can't access the old one - so no serial number to give]. The phone cut out because the battery in my home hands-free phone went flat [call took too long]. I then received a no-reply e-mail "We will be needing some information regarding on the Business Name that you want to remove." !!??

I couldn't possibly spend another valuable minute on the phone to go around in circles again. Does anyone know what I'm writing about and how to fix this?

    Hi Ishooz

     

    Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. I regret the delay in our response.

     

    I understand that managing two files with identical names can be challenging, especially when trying to identify the most recent one. From the screenshot you've provided, it appears you have access to both files. I suggest opening each file individually. This will allow us to determine their unique serial numbers. You can find the serial number by clicking on the business name located at the top right corner of the screen, just beneath the logout option.

     

    Alternatively, you could select one of the businesses and navigate to the business settings to rename the file. This could help differentiate the two files.

     

    Please note, if a subscription is cancelled, it remains in the cloud for a period of 60-90 days before the system permanently deletes it. This will result in the business no longer appearing on your list of businesses screen.

    When I click on the unwanted Business name a sceen shows "Business needs to be updated". There are no other options allowing me to access the Business name's sdmin/specifics

    How will I receive this private message? Where do I look?

    Private Messages say I have reached my limit of sending Private Messages! I've only sent 3-4 and we haven't sorted the problem.
