ATO Reporting Category for Super

Hi

I'm trying to link a Salary Sacrifice account under Superannuation to the correct ATO reporting category however the only options I'm getting are either "to be assigned" or "Not Reportable".

I have used the correct ATO reporting category on a different Salary Sacrifice account which shows as "Salary Sacrifice and RESC".

Am I only able to select the reporting category for one account?

Thanks

Lynne

    Hey cranetrucks,

I get that you need to select Salary Sacrifice and RESC as the ATO reporting category for the Salary Sacrifice that was set up under Superannuation. If you can't select the correct ATO reporting category, make sure that you're able to change the "Contribution Type" first. This way, it allows you to change the ATO reporting category to Salary Sacrifice and RESC. You can refer to the screenshot below.

    Best regards,

    Hi Doreen

Thanks for your response.  Unfortunately the Contribution Type selection is greyed out.

How am I able to change that to editable?

    Hi cranetrucks,

Thanks for the screenshots! Since the contribution type is greyed out and can't be edited, I would suggest creating a new payroll category. Make sure to select the correct contribution type so that the correct ATO reporting category will be available from the drop-down. You can also check out this link for more information.

    Best regards,
